How many people receive Easterseals Rehabilitation Center services each year?
Easterseals Rehabilitation Center provides life-changing solutions to over 2,000 children per year. These children are served in our outpatient centers in Wheeling and Steubenville, in schools throughout the region, and in West Virginia homes through Birth to Three. We never turn anyone away for inability to pay.
Every year, more than 1.5 million individuals benefit from Easterseals services at 70 other affiliates nationwide.
How is Easterseals Rehabilitation Center supported financially?
Easterseals receives funding from a variety of sources, including commercial insurance, Medicaid, private foundations, trusts, fundraisers, and donations. We are not supported financially by the national Easterseals office in Chicago, Illinois, nor are we affiliated with any Easterseals organization with a Charleston, West Virginia, address.
To make our services accessible to as many people as possible, Easterseals relies on gifts. These gifts cover the difference between actual program costs and what our clients can afford.
