Regatta gives large donation to Easterseals

WHEELING, W.Va. — Dec. 22, 2024 — Easterseals Rehabilitation Center received $15,000 from the Wheeling Vintage Raceboat Regatta on Friday. It was the largest single donation to Easterseals the regatta has given in its 17-year history, bringing the total donated to Easterseals from the event to over $115,000. Easterseals, which marks its 87th birthday today, Dec. 22, provides pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as early intervention and medical services, to over 2,000 children a year. The nonprofit center never turns anyone away for inability to pay.
