Easterseals Rehabilitation Center Marketing Director Betsy Bethel-McFarland has been tapped to perform as a contestant in the 2025 Dancing With the Ohio Valley Stars to benefit Augusta Levy Behavioral Services, formerly Augusta Levy Learning Center.
The competition will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Capitol Theatre in Wheeling. It pairs 11 local celebrities with 11 professional dancers who choreograph a routine and teach it to their partners who typically have little dance experience. It is modeled on the popular Dancing With the Stars competition, which is in its 34th season on ABC.
Bethel-McFarland is paired with freelance ballroom dancer Michael Kittle of New Martinsville. The pair has been rehearsing a couple hours a week at the YWCA Wheeling which is lending space in its 2nd floor auditorium.
Bethel-McFarland and Kittle will dance the cha cha and quick step during their two-minute routine. They are keeping their song and theme a surprise.
To vote for Bethel-McFarland and Kittle in the People's Choice competition ($1 per vote), go to the voting page.
To purchase tickets, visit the Capitol Theatre ticket outlet online here or go to the box office at WesBanco Arena.
Easterseals partners with Augusta Levy on the annual Inclusion on Ice inclusive skating event, which is held at Wheeling Park Ice Rink. The fifth annual Inclusion on Ice will be Feb. 8, 2026.
